Looking to improve your pump? You get three plastic mast shims, and I think you only need one so share with some friends! The shims are huge difference maker for pumping. I'd say bigger that tail shims (provided you have something back there that works :)
It's not intuitive, but by shimming the mast so that the deck is flatter seems to make you auto correct and glide better so that you don't get the nose down decline that saps you so very quickly.
For reference, my setup is Armstrong mostly HA 925-1325/72mast / 50cm fuse + every kind of tail on back. 6'1 - 220lbs before the 6/5/4 - lol.
