Foiling

These wings perform exceptionally well in light conditions. When flying from the boom, it's easy to feel the centered balance point and adjust your power delivery on demand from there. I was able to ride for multiple ocean sessions in marginal winds this summer thanks to these wings. They also feel lighter than one would expect for their size.

Thrilled to see Armstrong integrating the boom/mini booms options into this newest design. The wing provides phenomenal power delivery and the weave on the canopy maintains resilience over time. The XPS MKII is well worth the investment. The boom handle opens the door to infinite options on hand placement across the strut, optimizing sheeting ability while on the fly. The wing also flags out beautifully from the neutral handle, making wave/downwind riding more intuitive. I've ridden these mostly in flat water, but also on the ocean, and I really enjoy the way they fly one-handed, delivering light power for a fun, smooth ride.

An optimal choice for learning new skills on foil. It's refreshing to see a company that is focused on growing the sport by making it more attainable for beginners, as well as for intermediate riders looking to progress their skills to the next stages. One of the best aspects of the S1 series is the steady rate of lift as the foil gains speed, allowing the rider to fine-tune their pitch control for the desired outcome. The foils also turn easily, even in the larger sizes, while providing consistent glide and low-stall speeds across the entire line. I've seen multiple beginners up and riding consistently on foil on their second day in lessons with these foils- specifically the 1550 and 1850.

I have hit my head off the water kiting with no helmet and let me just say it is much nicer when I have this helmet on. Not too big or bulky and it works. It is also nice to wear when it is chilly out because it helps keep my head warmer without scooping up water and dumping it on my face.

CORE hit the nail on the head with this wing! It's lightweight, it's powerful, it's balanced, and it's got new features that really improve my overall wingfoil experience. The new ergo-boom is my favorite addition. It has a slight pistol grip at the front so when I'm riding a short wave or in onshore conditions and I don't really have the time or wave power to go the the LE handle, I can grab the pistol grip real quick and still fully control my wing while surfing. Then I can get back to power in one quick move by just sliding my hand. It's a total game changer! The new window positions give me the ability to see better, which really helped at the hatchery in Hood River b/c it's so busy there. The stiffness of CORE's new ExoTex HD material improves forward drive for quick and easy water-starts. The lightweight feel and overall balance are excellent for surfing swell too. I'll be picking up a 4m, 5m and 6m for sure.

I was very much not a fan of the previous North Orbit kites. I thought that they were unintuitive to fly, difficult to land softly with, and not fun unless they were noticeably overpowered. The complete overhaul of this kite for the 2026 model year improved basically every aspect of the kite making it fun to fly in any condition and improving the boosting and landing. One major thing that I noticed about this kite is that it overflies the rider very easily. This is a great characteristic of a boosting and looping kite is almost pre-positions its self for a heli-loop but for a non advanced rider I think it would pose some challenges. Basically, any jump over 5ish meters needs to be heli-looped to land softly because at the height the kite will have enough time to recover and overfly even with the bar pulled all the way in. I did manage to land softly on some 10+ meter jumps without a heli-loop but it took some pretty aggressive bar inputs at the last second, and I still had my fair share of hard landings with the kite front stalling behind me. If you are an intermediate to advanced rider that can send big jumps with heli-loop landings then this kite is awesome. It loops predictably and gives great boost and hang time. The North Orbit went from being a kite I had a hard time recommending to most people, to one of the first kites I grab on a windy day.

After using the Florence Marine Rashguard for the summer I can say I am very happy with it. The material is silky smooth and has cut down on both rash and sunburn. I probably 80 or more sessions in it. It has held up great and don't think I have any frayed or loose strings yet. The hood rolls up and out of the way easily if you don't want to wear it. Its comfortable when up though as well. Its nice to get the sun our of your eyes and off your face when you want to. There are some times when duck diving with hood up where the material around your ear gets soaked with water and blocks your hearing. You can quickly drain the water out by flicking your finger inside the hood.
I definitely use the board short loop and that helps it stay in place. If there was anything I would change would to make the waist a touch tighter around my waist but the loop works well too. Definitely don't se e myself buying any other rashies going forward. Materials and fit are excellent.

This wing performed high above my expectations. Super light and had amazing drift in front of you when catching swell on foil. It did not want to drop. Probably could have let go of it and it would have floated in front of me like someone controlling a drone. I weigh about 195 lbs and used a 5 meter in 18-25mph with 30 mph gusts. Definitely over powered during the gusts but could still hold it down due to the lightweight construction.

I like riding the ML in 65 Liters for both winging and prone foil surfing. It comes with a nice bag too. I am 6'-1" and 165lbs.

The Core Air really makes lightwind kite sessions super fun. Its nice to be able to drive upwind and practice tricks on the light days vs. just mowing the lawn back and forth on older heavier kites.

The Glide 220 tail pairs nice with the MA 1190 front wing for both winging and prone surfing smaller summer OBX swell.

I really enjoy riding the MA 1190 in a wide range of conditions across multiple disciplines . I prone surf it, kite it, and wing it. I am 6'-1 and 165lbs and find that the 1190 works for me across a wide range of wind speed and wave size.
