No Longevity

I purchased this wetsuit in November of 2024. Initially the suit was warm and super stretchy but now 7 months in and it is falling apart. The left leg's stitched seam unraveled and now the outer skin has begun to separate from the neoprene. The stomach has also begun to develop air pockets (separation). Lastly the right shoulder has separated and now allows water to flush everytime I duckdive. I reached out to Real Water Sports and was accused of not rinsing my wetsuit and leaving it out in the sun, causing the deterioration. This is definitely not the case, I rinse it with freshwater after each surf and hang it to dry out in my shower at home. I really wanted to like the suit since it was really comfortable and really warm to start. I won't be looking to purchase another Volcom Wetsuit in the near future and I definitely won't be purchasing a wetsuit from Real Water Sports.

Best wetsuit deal going

Been wearing this 5/4/3 for the last two months of the winter here in Hatteras NC. This is the first 5/4/3 I have owned for surfing. Usually, I can get away with a 4/3 through the winter here, but the water has been offering temps in the mid 40's to low 50's. I am really happy with how warm and comfortable the modulator insulation is. The wrist and ankle cuffs seal really well and rarely let water in, even when bailing. I feel like I am still in my warm bed during long 3+ hour winter sessions. Definitely best bang for your buck if you want to be warm and have fun in winter surf.
