The revised high aspect-ratio design improves low-end power over the Flux V1 while retaining - and refining - its sporty top-end feel.

Thanks to the Ultra-X Aluula airframe, optimised sail tension, and a 20% weight reduction (on average compared to the Flux V2), the Ultra-X offers enhanced performance across the board-from upwind angles to slick gybes, tech jumps to smooth tacks.

SHAPE AND TENSION - LONGER LASTING FEEL

Two years of refinement since the Flux V1 have led to significant improvements in sail shaping and tension management.

RIGID POWER HANDLES

Borrowed from our Flow wing, the Flux V2 Ultra-X features extended, EVA-covered carbon handles with ergonomic grip bumps. The longer front handle simplifies one-handed control, enabling expressive carving and free-flowing movement. Meanwhile, the new, stiffer leading edge handle delivers high levels of control with the wing flagged out.

Very Light, Very Fun

I flew this wing in a 5m in 16-18mph winds back to back with the Dacron version of the same size. This was my first time using an Aluula wing, it is crazy how much lighter it is than the Dacron version or other Dacron wings in a similar size. The pressure on your forearms and shoulders almost disappears and the wing just floats in front of you when you flag it out or one hand it. My major takeaways from using this wing were: 1) I think it lacks some low end grunt when compared to the Dacron version. With both wings I had to do some pumping to get up on foil. With the Dacron wing I would pump once or twice then really feel the power in my back hand and then come up on foil. With the Aluula wing it took quite a bit of pumping to get to foil. However, because the wing is so light, I felt like I could pump for much longer without getting tired and out of breath. 2) This wing would work really well over powered. Despite its lack of low end power, like most Aluula products it has a crazy good top end and can hold down power well above its normal wind range. 3) I really like the handles on this wing. At first I was confused by the layout but after riding for a while it really grew on me. The front handle is pretty long and the back handle is relatively short and feels like it should extend further up. However, what I noticed is that when cruising around you can almost just fly the wing from the front handle only an then grab the back handle when you need to get back on the power. 4) The Aluula wing has crazy good upwind performance compared to the Dacron wing. Overall I think for my ability level I would probably just buy the Dacron wing. But if you want the best of the best or a particularly light and floaty wing then this is a great option.

Super light. Float like butterfly

This wing performed high above my expectations. Super light and had amazing drift in front of you when catching swell on foil. It did not want to drop. Probably could have let go of it and it would have floated in front of me like someone controlling a drone. I weigh about 195 lbs and used a 5 meter in 18-25mph with 30 mph gusts. Definitely over powered during the gusts but could still hold it down due to the lightweight construction.
