I use this pad on my 5'4" Classic Twin Fish because it has no tail kick so it has the feel of no pad when paddling but when you are on wave it adds the traction and foot placement reassurance you want to know you are int he perfect place to step back and crank a few turns without stepping past the tail. It also has the center add on peace so you can spread the pad more for fuller tail boards. It is also easy on your knees because the pad material is exponentially softer and lower profile than other similar pads. The classic black color pattern allows this pad to fit a wide variety of style needs.
