Our CODE-TEC fabric offers an exceptional combination of lightness and strength. With less elongation and higher tear resistance, the CODE-TEC provides greater structural stiffness, minimizing deformation under load. All around active flyer

This is a highly responsive highly yanking low aspect kite. It does well in surf and drifts fine and loops quick and also has a good amount of pop and height when twintipping. It can feel punishing if you mis-steer it, so you have to be “on it,” definitely not a sheet and go kind of kite. Still very fun all arounder, would be good for someone who wants a do it all kite that can really whip around. Feels like a suped up Nexus or Reach.

Solid Do Anything Kite

I have flown this kite in a 10m in both light and windy gusty conditions. The first thing I noticed is how stable the kite is in the air, it sits at 12 and rivals even the Nexus 4 in overhead stability. The Bandit-TEC delivers very smooth power in light winds and remains composed in turns, loops, and jumps. It sits pretty far forward in the window giving it great upwind performance and is generally a very pleasant and easy kite to fly when the wind is light. In gusty windy conditions I found that, while the kite was still stable, it became much more reactive to input and bar pressure increased noticeably. The kite jumped well and looped predictably. My only real complaint is that it didn't really soak up the gusts very well, instead it felt a little bit like being kicked in the back repeatedly although not as bad some other kites. Some other very minor complaints would be that it has knots on all four bridle connection points so unless you are using a bar meant to fly this kite, you will have to change up the pigtails on your bar. Also, the bridle system is fairly complex which lead to it getting hung up on the wingtip and/or strut 2 out of the 3 times I launched the kite. Overall a great kite that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great all around do anything kite.

Smooth Power and Easy Jumps for Big Air!

The new Bandit Code-Tec is a light kite for how durable it feels. In the air it has a smooth pull when sheeting in the bar and is stable during jumps. It won't rip you off the water and gives you a lot of power for how easy it is to control. The smooth power gives you some of the best hangtime for a three strut kite and keeps a constant pull through turns and loops. If you want one kite that can do everything and perform in strong winds for big air, I highly recommend this kite!
