The new Reach has a more swept design, slightly higher aspect ratio, and refined bridle positioning points for a playful, smoother and faster-flying kite with more direct steering and dynamic recovery.

A Kite True to It's Name

This kite is marketed as the "desert island kite" and holds true to it's name. Is it my favourite kite for doing specific things not necessarily but is awesome overall. This is an excellent kite to learn and progress with. I first learned to kite on this kite. I accidentally took out a 7m reach thinking it was an Orbit in 30mph winds and it flew so well. I was incredibly impressed with it's ability to launch me into the sky and honestly happy I took out the reach and not the orbit.

Solid All Around Kite

No one has ever been mad about riding a North Reach or a Naish Pivot. That's what I tell people who are looking for kite advice. The North Reach is the kite I always recommend to the person who doesn't know what kite they want and isn't looking for something too aggressive. It is very easy and predictable to fly. It can twin tip, surf, and foil. It handles well when depowered. It soaks up gusts pretty well. And it jumps better than you think it would. Is it an adrenaline pumping boost to the moon kite? No. But it is a great all rounder that works for everyone

Favorite kite for easy kiting

Been loving this Reaxh for easy riding. The 2025 Reach was a big improvement on all around performance and bar feel. This is a quick kite that does all sports well. I’m mostly in the surf and some flat water town tip. I like the Reach over a wave kite cause it still works when I want to twin tip it. Great all rounder in all sizes.

North Reach Kite

Honestly I am not the biggest fan of this kite. It is not a terrible kite itself but I feel for the price that you could buy something so much better if you were a little more specific with what you wanted with a kite. Something I can say about this kite that is very positive is the fact that it is pretty good for almost anything I would call it the jack of all trades of a kite. the only thing is that it just isn't the best at anything. It is kind of a quiver killer if you dont really want to be specific with what type of kite you want to fly and what you want the kite to be able to do. Overall if you are just getting into kiting this is an amazing kite for you but if you are a little bit of a better kiter than you should do a little bit more research and look for a kite that would be better for the type of kiting you want to be doing.
