Lost Description:

Replaces a standard gun, or large step up. Ride just 4-8” (or more) longer than normal HP shortboard. Added volume for paddle, stability and drive, but nimble and precise on the wave face, and in tubes, due to low perimeter rail volume and use of flat bottom and vee combos, allowing the high volume board to sit in the water and high speeds. The rolled vee in the nose and lack of any concave cut though lumpy bump wild conditions and allow for smooth, surfing and takeoffs. The wide point thickness forward helps with catching waves and drive in stiff offshore conditions.

FEATURES: Beak nose, wide point, and thickness forward, Low entry rocker with accelerated tail rocker (with double concaves cutting through the tail rocker) Flat deck, steep rails. Vee in the nose, flat under front foot and spiral double concave vee in the tail.

Three years ago we designed a quiver of flat deck, forward volumed, steep railed, beak nose utility guns...(with a Post modern/vintage flair) to charge OB. The added volume is negated by minimalistic concave and the use of vee. The next year Ian crane and Luke Davis got in the mix. Both re-ordered and love them. Finally, last season, we did a batch for Kolohe Andino (resplendent in full Lopez Camo). Kolohe says the 6’10” is “ his favorite board” even using it in some of his heats at Sunset.
