2021 KT Drifter Surf Full Foilboard

190lbs - Went with the 5-4 because most the places we prone foil here in NorCal are long paddles and the Man in the White Suit is always lerking. The board paddles fast and is super stable on takeoff. The concave deck takes a few waves to get use to, but now I can't imagine riding a board without it. Matt mentioned it pushing water and this is probably because the board has a good amount of nose rocker that allows you to put a lot of weight forward when popping up and make some critical drops. This board is well constructed and just a tad heavier than other custom carbon fiber boards I've ridden. The board I received was a solid dark blue and looks really cool. The traction pad is great with a wetsuit on, wish the tail pad had an arch bar. I'm very happy with this board and will probably end up getting the 5-0 next. You will be stoked on this model!

I'm 190lbs and ride the 4' 8" with a lift 250 surf wing. This is my second board, after learning on a 5' 10" Skywalker. Very happy with this purchase and having lots of fun. Just as easy to paddle and catch waves as the starter board, yet much more capable. Need to wear a tank top due to the traction pad.

The KT Drifter is an amazing board at a great value. Coming in at a slightly more attractive price than its competitors, it does not skimp on performance. I am 185lbs and I surfed the 4'4'' and I can say that the experience wasn't much different than riding a Freedom or Armstrong. This is the best choice for someone looking for a top-tier board at a not-so-top-tier price point. The grip pad is extremely sticky, to the point that it tears up your chest and anything else that touches it in the water.
