It may come as a surprise, but July is our most consistent month for wind with an average of 29 days a month with winds over 14mph! This means you can kiteboard almost every day of the month. August isn’t too far behind with 23 days a month of wind.
Surf
July and August have great waves and warm water. The surf starts out consistent in the waist high range early July and builds to some of our most consistent and powerful surf by the end of August. Even though these months are “windy”, this wind is offshore at many surf breaks and also generates wrap around wind swell in between groundswells, making it a “good windy’!
