AC75 Helmsman, Jimmy Spithill, Cross Trains By Surf Foiling
The 36th America's Cup has completely consumed anyone that is interested in foiling. These high-tech foiling monohull AC75 boats are an amazing feat of engineering. They can reach speeds up to 50mph and foil on both the upwind and downwind legs of the race course.
Rumor has it that many of the racers involved in these boats are cross training by surf foiling and wing foiling. Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli's, Jimmy Spithill, shares his feelings about the how surfing foiling translates to racing the AC75 boats.
