O'Neill Mutant Legend 4.5/3.5 CZ Hooded Wetsuit-Black

I love the techno butter line from Oneill. The suits are warm and very stretchy. The stretch in the chest and shoulders helps with easy, less restrictive paddling. Allowing me to surf longer and fatigue less quickly. The mutant 4.5/3.5 is a great suit in my quiver due to its adaptability with the removable hood/neck piece. I’ve been using this suit all winter here in the OBX!

This is easily my favorite wetsuit and I was super impressed by how both flexible and warm it is. It is a great option for those cold days and allowed me to have long winter sessions without giving up much paddling/maneuverability. The techno butter is really comfortable material. I will say it does not have the durability of other suits so keep that in mind as biggest trade off for comfort and warmth.

Best winter suit experience. The Mutant is super comfortable and will have you warm all session long. Still have my old Mutant I got about 3 years ago that still gets some love, but really enjoying the new technobutter material on this one. Allows for a wide range movement and is my old reliable for the cold months in OBX.

I love the modular closure, where you can add a hood when the temperatures cool. The neoprene is very soft and comfortable allowing great movement, but still extremely warm. It drys quickly, and seems very durable.
