Solid front foot traction

I installed this traction pad on one of my kiteboards, and have really liked it. At first I thought the corduroy texture might have my feet slipping around a bit, but once its wet it actually tends to be nice and grippy. For kiteboarding where you are putting a ton of force down on the board with your feet, this works really well. I also wax up the pad every few sessions to give it just that extra little bit of tackiness.

The pad itself does tend to cushion the board slightly and make impacts not dent as much. This pad is pretty thin, so I wouldn't mind having one a little thicker to give the board more protection.
