Located in Cape Hatteras. No bots.The FM+ Battery Adaptor is required when using the FM+ Battery Range with Fusion units. The adaptor extends the length of the smaller batteries so they fit securely in the longer Fusion unit.
Do you need one? If you bought your Fusion before the FM+ batteries were released in September 2026, yes — you will need an adaptor alongside your FM+ 650 Battery. Fusion systems supplied after that date already include it. Not required with the MAX+, where FM+ batteries fit directly.
The adaptor creates a toolless, secure extension between the shorter FM+ battery and the Fusion unit, so the battery clicks into the system with ease. Integrated Quick Lock Tabs make fitting and removal fast and intuitive while holding a solid, unified connection between the battery and the Fusion base.
For Fusion riders it opens up how you configure a setup: maximum runtime with the Fusion 860, or a lighter, nimbler and more responsive feel with the FM+ battery range — without changing the core system.
Note: The adaptor is only needed when running FM+ batteries on a Fusion. It is not required with the MAX+, and it is not compatible with the Gen2 MAX.
