Highly recommend these fins for most beach breaks for a standard-high performance shortboard. I personally use them in my 5'10" LOST Uber Driver in all conditions from waist high mush to over-head hollow days. These fins have enough hold to stick late drops, stay on rail while laying down turns in critical sections, but still loose enough to let the tail release when you want it to.
