The new TRIGGER Brainchild builds on the identity of its predecessor, delivering higher jumps, longer hangtime, lighter steering pressure, and improved comfort and control across the entire wind range. Designed by Ralf Grösel and developed at the Brainchild factory, it stays true to the F-ONE DNA while incorporating refined materials and structural updates that enhance performance and handling, making it a Big Air kite that is both accessible and powerful.

Design

The TRIGGER Brainchild now features an entirely new canopy construction, using a softer material first introduced on the BANDIT Brainchild. This new material makes the kite more forgiving, delivers a significantly improved second lift, and contributes to a loftier and longer hangtime, with a more progressive and controlled descent that makes landings noticeably smoother.

A redesigned bridle geometry further enhances control and precision. The one-side fixed bridle provides improved stability and accuracy, especially when depowered, while the resulting longer depower stroke allows riders to maintain back-line feedback and great steering ability.

An additional central bridle attachment, resulting in a 7-point attachment system, increases the structural stability of the kite and contributes to an improved lift, ensuring the kite still accelerates efficiently into the wind for strong take-offs and powerful jumps.

The entire range has been streamlined to provide a consistent feel, ensuring the same TRIGGER characteristics across all sizes. All in all, steering pressure is lighter, the second lift is enhanced, and the kite is easy to control throughout the wind range, whether powered or fully depowered.

The new TRIGGER Brainchild combines efficient lift, extended hangtime, and precise control in a single, coherent package. Every detail, from the softer canopy to the updated bridle geometry, works together to provide a more comfortable and predictable kite, giving riders of all levels the confidence to fully send it.

BRAINCHILD

Brainchild uses innovative, high-tech and extra light materials on both the inflatable structure and canopy of the kites. Strength and lightness are guaranteed for incredible flight performances.

The broad, eco-friendly single-point inflation system guarantees optimal airflow and quick inflation.

PROWELD

PROWELD is a unique and revolutionary process technology that Ralf Grösel has patented and developed himself. With PROWELD, segments are ultrasonically welded together seamlessly at one point and then glued on the back to increase the structural rigidity of the joint. With all the segments of the leading edge welded rather than stitched, it creates a stiffer frame with better structural integrity, while also saving weight and reducing the stress on the bladder inside.

This leads to a super precise bar feedback and astounding reactivity from the kite.

The big advantages of the PROWELD method:

• The diagonal stiffness of the Dacron is much higher than with conventional stitching, leading to greater reactivity in each maneuver.
• Increase in the overall stiffness of the kite: +25% increased torsional stiffness
• Saves weight as less material is required for this type of seam: -15% weight compared to conventional seam construction

DIGITAL PRINTING WITH ECOINK

BRAINCHILD Production has developed a unique process to print materials digitally, only using Eco Solvent Ink. Printing uses four times less water compared to dyed cloths. Moreover, only white fabrics are used for the canopy, which means there is no wastage of dyed material offcuts or the issue of any material colour shortage. This unique process makes resource planning much easier as well.
