The Long Fish is a model I have wanted to make for a long time. The ones I have made in the past didn’t work up to my expectations. Blowing up a standard keel doesn’t work, no matter what anyone says. The speed and glide are there which is the reason for making it, but they just don’t turn so I focused on what would fix that issue. The outline and rocker working together is key, so by narrowing up the nose and tail as much as possible it still looks like a fish. We’ve added a generous amount of tail rocker to compensate for the long tail curve. This model carries foam from nose to tail through the middle, but has a very performance shaped rail line. The Long Fish is the perfect option for 2-6’ surf and a great choice for travel when the waves can vary in quality.
