I am a hat guy and I wear a hat every day, and I can say with confidence that this is the best hat ever. I wear this at work, while riding my bike, around the house, for running, when I'm surfing, while kiting, for beach lounging, while beer drinking, while watering the garden, the list goes on. This hat does it all.
The magic is in width adjustment on the back of the hat. You can grab the loose end and pull it back which then pops open the adjuster clasp, then you can pull it tight and lock it in that new position with one hand. Gone are the days of being stuck with just 7 adjustment points on you classic Snap Back hat, this system gives you infinite adjustment options. I adjust it all the time, its great if you are doing something like riding your bike and your hat is about to blow off. Boom! A quick one handed adjustment and your good to keep on biking. Best example of this hats high performance ability is that I was prone foil surfing recently and while on a wave I could feel my hat about to fly off so I was able to do a quick mid wave adjustment to tighten it down securely without it being a distraction from my surfing at all. There is only one hat I've ever used that can pull a stunt like that one, and its the REAL Coaches hat. While I did use the Black/Charcoal one, I'm sure the Black one has the same level of performance.
