TearAid Super Patch-Large

I use this to fix everything from bladders to canopies to e-foils and jet skis in a pinch. I send a couple of slips with our coaches every time they do offsite coaching and personally would not go on a kite trip without it. I even patched a fist sized hole in a bladder with several pieces overlapped and had it hold perfectly for 5+hours. I have found that it does not work quite as well if its applied in colder temperatures and can degrade with prolonged UV exposure.

This Tear Aid stuff is incredible. I always keep a patch of this in my kite bag, and definitely bring it along on any kite trip that I go on. This stuff is mainly designed to patch kite bladders. It works for tiny pin holes, but I have also used it to patch larger half dollar size blow outs. As long as you are careful, put a backing on it, and use two layers, it will hold. When in a pinch I have also used this to fix smaller tears in canopy material, dings on surfboards, and a leak in my air mattress. Always keep a few patches on hand just in case.
