The EA thruster and quad in Control Series is now offered in our traditional fiberglass lay up. These two templates are some of the most tried and true templates in the Futures lineup. The EA quad has a unique foil for solid control in critical conditions, while still allowing excellent maneuverability when needed. EA is a name you can trust when you're getting ready to charge.
Futures Fins blends aerospace-level engineering with surf-driven design, crafting high-performance fins in Huntington Beach that are rapidly prototyped, tested, and refined to push progression for surfers at every level.

The Futures EA fin is my Go-To fin when I want to lay down rail turns at speed. These fins do still offer ample release off the top. When you want to stay on rail (when paired with a step-up or high performance shortboard) they won't slide out.
I typically use these fins in my 6'2" Ghost when it gets bigger and starts throwing but also in my 5'8" Dominator 2 and Sub-Driver 2.0 when its weaker and mushy but still has an open face or when you need to get down the line fast. These fins can be a great choice if you can't decide which fins to take on your trip, use at home when its pumping, or to keep in your board bag as a backup to your small wave fin.
This is a set up that I always keep close by.
(The Tech-Flex option is better as an everyday fin while the traditional fiber glass option is stiffer and will offer better performance in even bigger waves of consequence).
