There’s no other wing like the Pump and Glide. A unique combination of medium and high aspect, thinner foil and high camber, PNG gets you up easily – then keeps you going, and going, and going. The foil section design also has a high stall angle, which means it performs exceptionally at slower speeds.

PNG is a firm favorite with SUP foilers too, maximizing your ability to pump back out and foil straight onto the next wave. Lots of our AXIS customers have also learned to wing foil on this design. However, the same characteristics that make it a great pumping foil will also hold back its top speed.

Difference between the Axis PNG1300 and PNG1310

The PNG1300 is a faster, winging wing (though still made for light wind) with a relatively high speed needed for lift. The PNG 1310 is a larger area, slower pumping foil that will be too slow for winging and is really only for dedicated dock start pumping.

I still prefer PNG 1150 but there are some dedicated dock starters that might want to add PNG 1310s to their setup for low speed pumping with maximum stability.
