Core SLC Foilboard

I have been using this board for a couple weeks now and absolute love it. It has a beautiful sleek design with a great build quality. Next to this, the board is really light, making it easy to carry around with one hand and enjoyable to use in the water. I primarily use this board strapless and love the traction pad on the deck. It is ergonomic and grippy, making it easy to shuffle your feel and transition.

The mounting tracks are also well designed and simple to use. The markings near the tracks are really helpful as well, ensuring your mast position is dialed to your preferences.

I would 10/10 recommend to a friend and will for sure be using this for more many more sessions to come!

Jumped on this set up the other day, the 115cm with the SLC 1250 foil and this kit felt immediately dialed in. The boards traction was incredibly comfortable on the feet, great for when your transitioning and tacking. The board was very reactive to my inputs and got back onto a foil really quickly during lulls. I usually ride a slightly bigger foil board and sometimes small boards can take a little time to get used to, but this one felt so easy to ride. Would highly recommend this board.

The New SLC board is a thing of beauty. It is lightweight, very direct feeling on the water and has incredible touch down control, especially for a board this thin. I am also very stoked with how the pressure between my feet is more evenly distributed. The foils/ boards I have ridden the past two seasons have the pressure biased to the front foot... in my opinion not a positive attribute. With my new Core SLC I feel the pressure on my feet more evenly balanced allowing me to challenge my self with out having to manage the board as much. Worth every penny!

This is another great offering from Core and a really good effort on their entry into the foil market. I didn't find it to be any less useful than say a Dwarfcraft at a much easier to swallow price though. As far as utility goes, this is a board that can only be ridden on a kite or behind a boat and I think that the price could be a little more justifiable with a few more liters so that you could surf on it also. Other than that, it doesn't stick to the surface of the water and the deck pad on top is really comfortable. If you are going to get a Core foiling setup just go with the full package!

CORE hit the mark with the new SLC Foil boards. They are lightweight, strong, and release off the water with ease. The nose has just the right amount of rocker so you don't pearl if you touch down, and the beveled edges allow for a heavy rake upwind or aggressive turns. The pad is soft and thin so you have a super cushy ride but still have all the necessary authority over the board when you need it.

I kinda wish there was a leash plug so when foiling in the waves I could keep track of the board easily, but aside from that, this board has all the fit an finish we have come to expect from CORE. 10 out of 10.
