Description

This package combines the Foil Drive Fusion hybrid electric foil system with the Armstrong x Foil Drive Integrated Carbon Mast to deliver a powerful, super-adaptable alternative to a traditional e-foil. The Fusion gives you e-foil-level power and runtime with the light, sleek feel of an assist system, running a 43V platform and the high-capacity Fusion 860 Battery (864 Wh) in a rugged, removable, one-piece housing that’s easy to swap, transport, and protect. Paired with the low-drag Armstrong integrated mast—available in 185 mm “foil assist” or 650 mm “e-foil” motor pod positions—you get smoother takeoffs and touchdowns, reduced drag, and ultra-precise feedback from its high-modulus carbon A+ System construction. This setup is for riders who want an adaptable, powerful e-foil alternative with more power and ride time: learners looking for stability and longer sessions, experienced riders chasing more thrust and runtime, and anyone who wants a single system that can handle surf, wing, downwind, wake, and flatwater with clean, integrated performance.

Very surprised on how much power this Fusion has for a beginner.

Foil Drive Fusion Session #5 today on local Raleigh lakes. Review of Fusion for the newbie heavier guy. 224lbs with 2mm wetsuit. Borrowed a 60L Apple Slice - wasn’t sure how Session 1 would go with 60l board? Put on S1 2450 wing and was up / planing /standing / riding on foil in Gear 1 or 45% throttle and backing off to 35% on foil. Controlling pitch, bringing pod out of water and gliding back to water, touch down and back up and making turns - so we proved the S1 2450 makes any board ‘foilable.’ The power was incredible!

Session 2 switched to CF2050 and continued improving but vs 2450 needed more power 75% throttle to plane, stand & foil downwind and 85% - 95% into wind. I need to see how I am using Boost cause it seemed to have little effect. Once on foil reduce power 10 - 20% or a gear or 2.

Sessions 3-5 continued to improved and doing some mini pumping. Lots of falls trying to figure out pumping! Foil size seemed much more determinant of riding ability than board size. Exceeded my expectations plus share how Fusion is working for someone new with less than ideal technique. The 18.5cm mast was definitely the right call so again thanks for the exchange.
