Core Sensor 4S Bar

It's a great bar, but has its flaws. The major issue that I have with core bars spans into other high Y split models since this makes bar juggling an extremely difficult task with out actually landing the kite. It really isn't an issue if you do not crash/invert your kite often. My other issue is that the flagging system is overcomplicated, and I do not see a huge reason for it being this way except for the fact that they are trying to be different. It does not work nearly as quick as a normal front line flagging system. Why reinvent something that is gaurenteed to work 100% of the time?

This is my personal preference, but it is a fantastic control bar. Nothing on it feels cheap unlike some other brands.

Good bar. It's very nice to hold, not too thick. I prefer a thinner bar. I will admit I've had a couple flukes with relaunching after punching out. I do believe the six lines at the base of the bar is a little excessive. Despite these complications I still use this bar often with a variety of different CORE kites and really enjoy it.

I really like this bar. I think it looks very clean, and feels very good when riding. However, I do think it is a little overengineered sometimes. I don't love the flag out system, and how there's 6 lines in the way for me to deal with sometimes. The high split does make it difficult to self land as well. Overall though, I do really like this bar and fly with it often.

This is still a great bar when you’re not punching out and self rescuing. There are a lot of lines and unique pulley geometry going on in the lower half of the high y split that can really snarl and tangle on themselves as you punch out and go to self rescue. If you are flying your kite dry 99% of the time this is a non factor, but the flag out is way more complicated and less elegant than a classic 4 line split like the Sensor 3. Bar feels good besides that.

Core bars are by far the best bars on the market in my opinion. I flew the Sensor 3s a ton, and this bar has made some really good upgrades. When you run the lines for the first time on this one, it can be a little confusing compared to the Sensor 3s. Once you take a moment to look at the center lines and how everything works going up to the high v split, it becomes second nature. I really like the auto untwist feature, and the grip & bar feel has gotten even better. This thing feels so good in your hands! After marathon sessions, the bar’s comfort has my hands feeling great. So worth giving it a try if you haven’t already!
