REAL Review
SURF 205
The Surf 205 is a highly manoeuvrable stabiliser that enables tight and critical turns in the pocket. This design is derived from the low aspect HS212 (chopped HS232) which dedicated surf foilers found to be the ticket for foil surfing. The Surf 205 builds on that with refinements to the foil section, planform and thickness to unlock the most freedom on the wave.

FLOW 235
The Flow 235's name says it all! It's smooth and predictable, inspiring your confidence and flow. Glide 220

Pump 202

Dart 120
Super maneuverability with minimal drag for max performance.
The Dart 120 is our most reactive, maneuverable, and low-drag stabilizer. Its concept was drawn up to take the Dart 140 a step further: quicker, looser, and faster to achieve the most radical surf foiling potential. The resulting Dart 120 design is effectively a Dart 140 with a decreased area, lowered aspect ratio, and shortened span. And yes, while the Dart 120 is made to rip in the surf, it also excels for advanced wingers and even downwind foilers with a sensitive touch looking to loosen their setups to the max.

I am falling in love with the dart 120 for prone and downwinding. I'm 137lbs and find that the pumpability/turnability to be unmatched for me. I have been led to too large of wings most of my life for my weight, and this tail wing opened up my ability to shred downwind. 10/10

Quick shipping and technical feedback with the Real team. Mint condition speed 180 for my HA 1080. Great speed, acceleration and pumping in the choppy/gusty ocean conditions I get in DE and NJ. Lots of fun. Only had the Surf MK II 200 with my MA to compare. HA c speed set up is way more glidey and pumpy, MA set up is a surfyer/looser feel.

I weigh 170 lbs wing a 65L Armstrong mid length, 85cm mast, HA580 with the dart 140 tail, and it is a very lively and fast set up. The tail makes hard turns, fast tacks, and race style jibes feel snappy. You can change direction and accelerate really well with little turbulence. I use this tail on downwinders in large rollers, in small shore breaking waves, and for jumping. No complaints. I would recommend the Dart 140 to anyone who feels that there current set up is slowing them down. Riding this tail makes me feel like the only limiting factor on my speed is my willingness to push the gear faster.

The Glide 220 tail pairs nice with the MA 1190 front wing for both winging and prone surfing smaller summer OBX swell.

We spent last week at Real staying in Watermen's retreat, more on that in a full review. The staff were so helpful every time we were rigging or just walking around.
With my wife, we both use the same foil setup, and newer FG boards one side apart. When we talked with Nick, Matt, Brendan about upgrading our Surf 205 tail while using the HA780. They all recommended the Speed 180. So into the store and out with two new Speed 180's. What a great move. It is so smooth, more stable, faster, extends the glide, easy on foil, forgiving with blue shim in waves. We now have our setup for 2025.
Hats off to Armstrong for making a lineup that offers a easy way to progress in the sport. For stabilizers/tails we have now used CF 300, HS 232, Flow 235, Surf 205, Speed 180. It just keeps getting better as you progress. And the quality is the best I see in the market.
