Warmest Wetsuit ever !

I bought this wetsuit in December and I can't get enough of this suit! My first session I used this it was an overcast day and off shore winds, water temp was 48 degrees it was a cold day and I didn't get cold at all. I was wearing 3mm gloves and 5mm boots as well. I've taken this out on warmer days and have overheated and could get away with no gloves and hood love this suit. If it's cold and windy or if I'm doing a wind sport this is my go to wetsuit !!!

Last longer in water

This is my first winter in Cape Hatteras using the hooded Drylock 4/3. It's been the key to keeping me in the water longer this winter. Love how warm and well this suit fits. The material seems to be a little heavier duty and heavier in weight compared to my last suit. The hood and chest zip seals great and doesn't constantly let water in when riding or bailing. Holds up very well against the wind and retains good warmth, even when sitting still. We had a couple days with water temps in 40's and air temps in 30's, and the 4/3 held up perfect. I haven't had to pull out my 5/4/3 this winter yet. This will be my go-to winter suit for future winters to come. Pumped on this one!

Toasty...but not perfect

This has been my go-to wetsuit this winter for both surfing and kiting. The suit is plenty warm for winter here in Hatteras. I’m very happy with the comfort and flexibility of the suit. Because this suit is so warm, it can be used in conditions that would have previously required a 5/4. I have two minor complaints about this suit: 1. The drawstring around the face is not elastic so it can be hard to seal the hood around your face. 2. The zipper is secured shut by just a magnet, and not a physical clip, so sometimes the chest zip will slightly unzip while in the water. Overall, I've been very happy with this suit, and it appears that it will serve me for many more sessions.

My go-to winter wetsuit

This Drylock 4/3 Hooded is SOOOOOO WARM! I love this suit. I used to wear a 5.5/4 of a different brand wetsuit, but this Xcel 4/3 hooded is just as warm. This covers me for the middle of winter here in Cape Hatteras with long session times. I've had this for a few seasons now and its holding up great.

I've found that fit on hooded wetsuits have varying level of comfort for the hood. I personally find this hood to be very comfortable for long sessions.
