Description

The John John (M) Techflex signature fin is a medium sized Speed Control fin with a Ride Number of 4.0. It was designed by JJF to be a larger, more drivey version of the F4 template, with additional base and rake. The Techflex construction and flat foil give this fin a stable feel, making it ideal for controlling speed in more powerful waves. For John John, this is his weapon of choice in all conditions.

Perfect step-up fins

These fins truly shine in the right conditions and on the right board. Complemented with a pin tail, these fins provide control and a surprising amount of speed right off the bat. However, what one trades for this increased control is a slightly longer line and less skatey feel. But, this ends up working to its advantage, providing drive off the bottom to get through sections or just fly down the line.

A must have in your fin quiver!

This fin is quite possibly one of my favorites I have ever ridden. It is responsive in all conditions: small chopppy to big and clean. Has an excellent feel of connection and responsiveness. I mostly ride quads but this fin has the feel of a quad (loosness/ speed) With the drive off the bottom of a thruster. Most recently I rode this fin in El Salvador at a right hand point break ( backside) it allowed me to stay in the pocket with ease and had plenty of release off the top. Excellent fin, a MUST have!

What you want when the waves are firing!

Right when you pick up this fin you can feel that it is going to be a good one. Solid construction and really nice materials make this a go to fin when the waves turn on. Did a couple trips last year to El Salvador and Fiji and this was the set up when the waves were overhead and hollow. Worked equally well on my step up and my go to shortboard. Really good down the line drive and hold.

Solid big wave fins

I bought these fins to use on my Pyzel Ghost and they have been the perfect fit. They are sturdy enough to keep you on waves that are big, fast and heaving but not so stiff that you can't maneuver them into turns and pick up speed when you need to. I would recommend these on any board that you're looking to use in particularly heavy or big conditions.
