"When I’m staying at Watermen’s Retreat, I know I’m going to have a good time. For me having a comfortable place to stay is key to a good trip."

How is it bringing the family to Watermen's Retreat? 

"I have brought my family there twice now and we will definitely be back again soon. Watermen’s is located in the village of Waves, which has great surf and is a good starting point to chase waves to the south or north."

What do you like best about the location?

"Being centrally located among all those good surf spots keeps you looking for the best conditions rather than talking yourself out of the drive because you’re staying down south in Buxton or up north in Nags Head."

How about when you are not shredding?

"I also enjoy being able to come home beat down after a day of surfing and having the best food on the island right downstairs at Watermen’s Bar & Grill."

Anything else the family is stoked on when they stay at Watermen's Retreat?

"Other pluses include the sunset views and a large grass field that my kids love to run around on and play football, tag or whatever. Such a great spot. Can’t wait to come back!"
