2019 Cape Hatteras Wave Classic | Recap
Congratulations to Moona Whyte and Reider Decker for winning 1st place and $4,000 in the Cape Hatteras Wave Classic presented by Patagonia.
Finals Day was an epic day of thick surf and small kites. The wind was nuking as the swell built and peaked during the final heats. Keahi de Aboitiz, Kevin Langeree, Reider Decker, Moona Whyte, Gage Fichter, Jessie Kilgour and Adrienne Kina made it to the Men’s and Women’s Finals.

Everyone went all out with crazy airs, barrels and huge hacks. We saw the highest scoring women's final ever, it was an amazing day of riding. In the end the surfers that laid it all on the line and charged the hardest prevailed.
