Best boosting kite!

The XR is one of my favorite kites because it has so much depower ability, it lets you carry more speed into your jump. It is a very user friendly kite, and with the core bar, there is a very nice light feel.

You can fly this kite a size or two smaller than you would think in strong wind, and it still has surprising power. You can also fly it a bit overpowered and still be comfortable and in control. The 5 strut design helps the kite hold its shape in gusty wind, and also gives it a good relaunch, unless it’s super light wind. In very light wind, it is prone to back stall because of its weight. It’s built very strong, and holds up very well over many lessons, and I have taught a lot of new riders on this kite.

The XR7 is an improvement over the already amazing XR6, it feels a bit more responsive and light. Highly recommended for beginner to pro level riders.

Much lighter feel in the XR7

Last month I purchased a 12 M Core XR7. I have only used it once so far and I really love the lighter weight ( 1 lb lighter then the 12m XR6 and only 0.2 lbs heavier than my 10 M XR6.) In my opinion this is quite a performance improvement particularly in the lighter wind ranges of the Kite. It definitely feels to be a more active kite in its lower wind range but at the same time very smooth at the top end.

As and XR6 user I bought XR7 right after I demo'd it on the beach

Noticeable improvements over xr6:
- Better drift (for wave riders)
- Faster looping
- Faster recovery after loop
- Increased range (low end especially)
- Faster turning
- Less bar pressure
- More direct feel in the air

With these changes, XR7 might be the most perfect kite ever made.

Ok this thing has crazy boost! Yes some kites say that they do certain things and the kites don’t back it up but with the core they do. The boost the speed the overall performance of the kite is incredible. When I recommend them to people to rent and just try out they always come back with a smile on their face and a desire to buy one. Another thing is that the coaches love them they take them out everyday to teach and the kites come back mostly Unscathed they can handle a hell of a beating countless hours and countless tomahawks. It is the best kite in the market right now!

Best kite on the market

Not kidding. This kite jumps so much higher than any other kite. I teach and session on this 99.9% of the time because it’s an all around, well balanced machine. Even if it weren’t a great all around kite, it would be still be my favorite kite just because of how well it boosts. Every kiter should give one of these a test session and I guarantee they’ll fall in love with it. The build quality of these kites is also fantastic, from the bar to the materials used in the kite, it’s all very refined and clean. Get a quiver!!
