Surfboard Volume Chart

Posted on September 4, 2013 by Pete Hardie

"What's the right volume for me?"

Here it is! REAL people, surfing in real world conditions with real surfing experience. Yes, you can calculate board volumes with a calculator, but this doesn't take into account current, endless duckdives, 5mm wetsuits, travel, single or multi board quivers, etc.

Use this chart for reference to help size your next board with respect to volume. We've provided this info to help you find "yourself" among this chart and be able to relate to different surfers, ages, abilities, fitness and years surfing.

As always, we're glad to share our experiences on these boards as well as all the other boards in our quivers that aren't listed on this chart, our preferred volumes, and any other info with regards to choosing the right stick. Just give us a call!

Thanks for the chart guys. Really helpful. I gotta say though one of your riders gave you bogus info. The last guy on your list? He works in the warehouse right? I've seen that guy in the water. He rips but he's gotta be like 230-240. I dunno maybe he cut down on the chili dogs since I seen him but i doubt it. Thanks again bro's keep up the great work!
