Core Xlite 2 Kite

This has been my go to light wind foil kite. They took the first generation and refined it to make it even better. Even when taking it out of the bag you can tell that its light! This makes it turn faster, stall less, and overall perform much better on those borderline wind days. Paired with the Pro Sensor bar, this is the $$ setup for kite foiling. Also really solid for teaching on light wind days!

This is a killer kite for foiling. I have been using this kite for the past couple weeks and found it to be an awesome kite all around. It flies incredibly beautifully and relaunches equally as well. It cuts through the wind really nice and is very responsive. The only downside is how loud it is. When you rip it across the wind window it flutters quite a bit, which takes away from the silence of foiling.

Overall, I really enjoy using this kite. It is my go to foiling kite and probably will be for a while. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a dedicated light wind foil kite.

The new Xlite 2 is a properly good kite for foiling. For years I have been using the Core Section for in the waves (which it is absolutely perfect for) and also for foiling in lighter winds. It works well for foiling, but in lighter conditions it just isn't as light weight as you would like it to be. After picking up an Xlite 2, it only makes me wishing I got one sooner. It is a huge improvement for foiling. The kite really stays up in the air easier when its a low wind day. Also if you drop it in the water, its much easier to relaunch at its lighter weight, and also easier to fly when wet with less struts holding water weight.

Overall performance is top notch. Very responsive and well balanced. Good for cutting up-wind, or if you are foiling waves in light wind it drifts down the line really really well.

New look and color is pretty sweet as well. Can't wait to get some more foiling in with this kite!
