Fits well. Secure in the water. I forget I have it on until the board or mast hits it!

Smart Purchase

Finally got a helmet for all my foiling pursuits, wing ocean foiling, kite foiling and prone surf foiling.
Been thinking about getting one for about a year and finally committed after a big ocean wing session, so spread out from my friends that I was basically all alone.
I really wanted the Neo sport hat 'cause that is what my friends have and they like it but we didn't have it in my size so I got the surf convertible and I'm psyched - it offers additional protection, fits well and once I sorted how to secure the ear pieces, it's bomber. Plus, it's what Nathan Florence wears surfing pipe without the ear pieces, so if I wanna get gnarly, I can get gnarly...

As for securing the ear pieces, read the manual and secure them properly so they lock in tight - insider tip there - ha!

When riding, you can't even tell that you are wearing a helmet - no impacts to your vision. It is a bit hot but if I went somewhere really tropical, I'd consider removing the earpieces.

Don't be a dingbat - get a helmet.

Great full padding water helmet

Compared to the Neo, the Surf Convertible has a lot more padding and protection. The Neo is great for a low pro helmet and the SFC is thicker with much more protection. You can also take off the ear flaps if you don't want them. This is a great multi-sport helmet. It has a slightly more snug fit than the Neo too.
