STAND OUT PERFORMANCE

A newly developed section shape, outline and profile give the HA range a remarkable “best of both worlds” ability to carve beautiful lines and easily stay high in the pumping power zone for maximum wave riding potential.

The foil section is adjusted incrementally at points across the wingspan (evolutive section shape) to provide a big boost to gliding efficiency and consistent lift at various bank angles and flight speeds. Riders are enabled to stay up high in the pumping power zone and experience an amazing carving feel for ultimate wave riding satisfaction.

PERFORMANCE PEDIGREE

Meticulously engineered to push your fun on the water.

The HA range benefits from two years’ worth of research with a leading CFD team in the hydrofoil sailboat world. These foils turn beautifully and their section is optimised to stay with the wave allowing smooth flowing connections between swell lines. Excellent lift means riders can drop down one full size from their previous HA foils for improved carving and speed range while maintaining an easy low end.

TOP TIER CONSTRUCTION

Built for progression.

High aspect foils experience extreme torsional forces in the water, especially when carving. We’ve crafted the HA range from premium Toray high and intermediate modulus carbon fibre for an ultra strong, stiff and lightweight foil that performs exceptionally under the feet of intermediate to expert riders. The consistency of this layup when combined with our industry-leading manufacturing quality provides the best in performance and durability.

Can’t get off these foils!

These are the best foils on the market. I change between the HA880-980-1080 based on wind speed and wave size. If you’re looking for a great downwind foil or want to catch small waves and be able to pump out with ease get on the 1180 or 1080 if you can pump well. These also work great for light wind wing foiling. For winging in high winds or more speed on waves get on the HA880 for best all around. If you’re kite foiling or tow foiling in bigger surf hop on the smaller sizes like the HA680 and use either the 180 speed tail or 220 Glide tail!

Ease and comfort

I have been using the HA range for winging flat water as well as in the waves. The HA range is incredible. Smooth, forgiving when breaching wing tips, stable lift, and turns easy. Wave riding is a dream with good forward speed to keep up with waves as side-off shore winds try to blow you out the back.
My go to range for winging in all conditions!

Can’t believe I’m riding the HA980

I have been riding the HS 1550 for quite a while now and am comfortable cruising back and forth. I have been testing the MA1475, MA1225, HA1080 and HA980. For all conditions I am loving the 980. It was a bit of getting used to how this foil tracks, but I am loving the glide. I found it as easy as the MA1225. I am just blown away that I can ride the 980 on a 2.5m to 5.5m conditions with ease. The smooth power delivery and ease of turn makes this as easy to ride as my HS1550.

Move Waves, More Fun.

First day out on my new HA 1180 and I am loving it. SUP foiling in shoulder to head height mushy waves, the new HA allowed me to catch significantly more waves than I would have on my 1550 v2. I'm still in the early stages of my SUP-foiling journey but I am consistently catching waves and riding them to the beach with multiple turns. I was able to pump into waves that I probably would not have caught in the past. once on the wave I was able to quickly stabilize and turn with ease. The foil was solid. I have an MA1225 that I've taken out several times but not had much success with, this was a significant Improvement from the MA for me. The HA has stability similar to my 1550 but way more pump and glide. I'm not yet connecting waves, but the HA Will make it possible in my future. For reference I am 185 lb riding on the 130L Armstrong SUP Wing board. Starting on a larger board and foil definitely help me progress faster than my friends on smaller gear.

The one wing to rule them all....

So far I have had some sessions on the 780, 880, and 1080 wings and REALLY like these new HAs. My go to wing for prone foil has been the HA925 for a long time now. Although I do love that wing, it also takes a lot of effort for me (190lb) to keep it pumping at the proper speed. These new HA wings have a very different feel with a much better low end to them. I am able to easily prone foil on the HA880, still getting really good speed with a much more forgiving feel, and at the same time better carving and wave riding performance. These new wings are for sure going to be the main wings in my foil collection moving forward.

I used the HA780 for a wing foil session and really liked it a lot. I was powered on a 4m XPS and riding a 58L FG Wing board. Surf was about waist to chest high. I was able to get up onto foil way easier than I thought I would. For comparison winging on the MA800 I really need some power and good forward speed to get up on foil. This HS780 was comparably very easy. I think I could probably make the HA680 work as well. On the wave, the HA780 was fantastic. Great control and speed. It handled shifts in power on the wave really well and didn't drop out randomly or over-lift.

I also tried the HA1080 prone foiling in tiny surf. This thing is a total pump machine. I was getting some insanely long rides and after the wave died out I was able to pump my way back out really easily. This one is going to be in my summer small wave quiver for sure!
