With minimal span changes (just 7mm between them) and drastic chord reduction down to 55, 50, 45, 40 and 35mm, we found positive gains in speed, control, balance and feel. The Skinnies have inherited many of the same characterises that make our Progressive range so popular, like the precise feel and seamless turn initiation plus recovery.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThey are very low drag and free up speed and turning. Heavier riders and those less experienced will gravitate to the 55, 50 and 45 chord models, those who are lighter and or have greater experience might opt to reduce drag in the extreme and try the 40 or 35mm chord options.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eWe have added 2 x smaller Skinnies to our existing range, they are the 358\/30 and 358\/25. We found that the new Fireball foil section has a different pump action and seemed to respond to the longer fuselage and smaller rear wing to get the best from it. All of our DW team riders from 60-95kg were all riding the 358\/35 so decided to build smaller. The 30 chord seemed logical enough, the 25 chord looks crazy and most of our riders laughed at it when they saw it, but it turned out they worked great. The 30 pairs well with most riders for DW on the Fireballs and the 358\/25 with lighter riders.
