Day 2 of the Triple-S Invitational offered all time conditions in the slick. The wind was around 20-25mph SW all day and we ran a full day of slider action in the Slick!
In honor of the Ro Sham Throwdown - riders "Roshambo'd" to decide the heat lineups
After 4 runs each and some incredible riding Victoria Soloveykina, Sensi Graves, Colleen Carroll & Claire Lutz progressed to the women's slider final.
Everyone loves the North Rooftop Rail - it's the perfect size and length for kiteboarding & allows riders to really get technical.
The Liquid Force Reverse Rainbow had alot of riders smiling too - such a fun feature.
There's no question, the most impressive hits were on the Dakine and Naish kickers. Lots of the riders spend time cross training at the cable park and it has definitely paid off. The standard this year is insanely high!

The Slick is a truly amazing venue for a slider event. There's nowhere else like it in the world!
The 80ft JWCF slider was the hardest feature in the park today and definitely sorted the men from the boys.

Day 3 of the Triple-S was all about the slider finals. With overcast & windy conditions in the slick, the riders took it to the next level!
With the Slider Finals complete - we moved into the Women's and Men's Slicks competition. The girls all killed it and we were also able to get through heat no. 1 of the men's slicks contest. More tomorrow!
After the amazing slider finals and a few heats of the slicks - competition went on hold due to rain for the remainder of the day. Surf conditions look good for tomorrow (day 4)!

The finals of the Slicks discipline went off at the Frisco Washout. We ran heats 2 & 3 of the Mens followed by the final. Conditions were outstanding with North-East winds, clear skies and perfect flat water!

There's no such thing as a down day in Cape Hatteras - it really is a big kid's playground.
The day ended with an awesome winch rail session in the boat basin. Unfortunately, Lulu Vroman took a nasty fall and hurt her knee towards the end of the session. We all wish her a speedy recovery!
On Day 6 of the Triple-S, there were some fun waves for an ocean expression session & in the evening, the 3rd annual Sunset Charity Swim Show!
Sensi and her team put on an amazing show and raised a huge amount of money charity!
