The Takayama In the Pink is the #1 selling longboard in the world.

The “ITP” is a 70/30 blend of noseriding to high performance longboard surfing. This board effortlessly slides into the wave and almost supports you like a pizza waiter when cross stepping your way to the nose. Go to any popular longboard break and you will see more In the Pinks than any other board on the water. There’s a reason why. From pros to first time noseriders, this board allows you to surf better and have more fun. While the ITP has a wide and well-marked nose area (get “In the Pink” or it doesn’t count!), it can also be surfed off the tail when you want to fit in some nice turns. If your local wave is hollow, the ITP may not be the best choice since the wider nose and flatter rocker may hang up a bit. (DT2 would be a better choice for this).

The In the Pink is available in Tuflite construction for maximum durability and performance, or Classic Wood for a more weighted feel with maximum glide. The Classic Wood construction is basically a Tuflite ITP wrapped in wood veneer top and bottom with solid wood nose and tailblocks. Beautiful, durable and functional!
