This model was built with more focus on nose riding than the DT-1. The key word for this model, however, it is VERSATILITY. Drop in, draw a clean line off the bottom, set-up that high line, and take a walk on the Takayama side. Or, if you prefer, this board becomes a lightning quick turning machine. Its rounded piotail and tri-fin set up is perfect for any turn you throw. This board excels in waves that range from ankle high to well overhead.

From the shaping room of Donald Takayama, one of the most coveted longboard shapers of all time, comes the DT2.

The DT2 blends both high performance and classic style longboarding almost seamlessly. Surf it off the tail or wrap 10 on the nose, the DT2 will shine in either trim. This board has a nice rounded pintail design with a slightly pulled nose (compared to the wider In the Pink nose). 2+1 fin set up allows you to run the board as a single fin for extended noserides or as a 2+1 for power surfing.

This is Donald’s best longboard for all around use, from small waves to big, tail riding to nose riding. It also is a great board to compliment a dedicated noserider since the DT2 will be faster and more maneuverable. Tuflite construction for maximum durability and minimal maintenance.
