REAL’s Zero 2 Hero Camps are ranked by Outside Magazine as “One of the Top 10 Adventure Camps in the World”. Under the guidance of REAL Head Surf Coach Sam Bell, as well as our staff of trained and certified surf coaches, REAL is ready to make you a surfer today!
The REAL Zero 2 Hero Surf Camp makes learning to surf easy and each topic fun to learn. Most self-taught beginners become frustrated when learning to surf because they don’t follow the right steps, in the right order. This experience can be the same when trying to learn from a friend. The REAL Surf Camp syllabus has been created from scratch to build each block of knowledge, ability and confidence from the ground up. You are having fun on day #1 and building on that knowledge and ability every day moving forward.
Often overlooked is intermediate to advanced surf instruction. This is where a surfer can dramatically improve their ability and style, through consistent feedback with an honest, reliable surf coach. Can you cross step to the nose with style? Is your shortboard speed where you want it to be? REAL Surf Camps cater to all ability levels and are guaranteed to make you a better surfer in three days.

REAL Surf Camps provide students with the ultimate full immersion surfing experience. What’s the best way to learn how to surf? Eat, sleep and breathe surfing in a REAL Surf Camp. Besides three full days of surfing with the best coaches and equipment available, you’ll meet many other new and seasoned surfers from all over the world who are just as stoked about surfing as you.

Our coaches are fully trained, have hands on product knowledge well beyond “user's manual expertise” on all surf equipment offered by the following brands; Surftech, Robert August, Takayama, Stretch, Gerry Lopez, Rawson, Resin-8, Roxy, Rusty, Joel Tudor, FCS, Future.
If you already have gear, our coaches will help you tune it up to maximize performance and ease of use. If you don’t have gear, let us prescribe what will work best for you in your home conditions. Our professional staff will assist you in selection of gear that matches your most frequented surf spots, ability level, learning curve and personal preference. We’ll find you the setup that will allow you to progress and surf with confidence.
