Roberts ILL Hydroflex 5'9"

Roberts has taken the Dill and added a wider nose and a touch of width to the tail block. These changes give this hi-performance board the ability to work better in smaller surf and still keep the board’s high performance feeling in good waves.

ROCKER
Same as the Dill – moderate with flip at the ends.

RAILS
Medium rail at the center with tapered rails at the nose and tail.

FINS
Tri fin is standard.

BOTTOM
Light single in the entry, deep single in the center with single through the tail.

HYDROFLEX SUPERCHARGER XXX
These boards were made exclusively for REAL and differ from the standard SuperCharger construction in the following way:
Standard SuperCharger construction has 1 layer of 4oz Hydroflex fiberglass cloth on the bottom and 2 layers of 4oz Hydroflex fiberglass cloth on the deck. XXX SuperCharger construction has 1 layer of 6oz Hydroflex fiberglass cloth on the bottom and 2 layers of 6oz Hydroflex fiberglass cloth on the deck.

XXX SuperCharger construction is even more durable than standard SuperCharger construction. So rather than lasting 3x longer than PU/Poly for normal surfing use, it will last even longer. Even though XXX has way more cloth (and you think it would be heavy) it's still one of the lightest boards in the loft. Mental.

This is also the SAME construction that Patrick Rebstock is using on all of his custom kitesurf boards, so this board is also well suited for strapless kitesurfing and the abuse that comes from it. Pat's recommendation is to pump the board up rock solid, 7-9psi is the way he likes them and this makes them more durable too against heel dents.

One other cool thing to mention is that even if this board get's all dented up, you can remove the dents by pressurizing the board to 9PSI and leaving it overnight. All the dents will be gone in the morning.
