Getting a 5mm or 6mm winter wetsuit to be stretchy is a challenge, but Rip Curl has done it with the E-Bomb 5.5.
To make this a high performance suit, Rip Curl stripped down all of the things that you don't need in a wetsuit to make it light and stretchy. They cut down the total number of seams to reduce weight and covered the seams they have with E3 Tape to keep the cold water out.

What we like:
The E3 material is so soft and supple. You don't feel like you are in this thick of a suit when you surf in it, and yet the E-Bomb 5.5/4.5 is plenty warm enough for the coldest of sessions. Rip Curl E-Bomb suits fit like a glove.

What we don't like:
The softer and stretchier you get a suit to be, the less time it will take to break down. It is a trade off that most people are willing to make. The E-Bomb will not last as long as the Flashbomb, but it has a lot more stretch.

This suit has the stretch of a 4/3 but the warm of a 5/4. If you want comfort and stretch the E-Bomb is da bomb.
