REAL has signed on as a sponsor of the Wind or no Wind Board Jam!

REAL is proud to announce that we have teamed up to work with the Wind or no Wind Board Jam as a sponsor. The Wind or no Wind (WonW) Board Jam is an event that has been created by kiteboarding legend Mauricio Abreu and is taking place at the CWC (Camsur Watersports Complex) in the city of Naga, located in the Camarines Sur Province of the Philippines, from December 3rd - December 12th, 2010. Mauricio has led the charge at the forefront of the progressive kiteboarding movement from the beginning and has always shared in a similar vision to those of us here at REAL. From this shared vision, combined with years of support for our events here in Cape Hatteras, teaming up with Mauricio and the WonW simply made sense.

REAL Watersports team riders Brandon Scheid and Jason Slezak will be attending the event to represent both REAL and Liquid Force on the water! Check out the WonW website to see the list of invited riders and be sure to surf REALWatersports.com daily during the event (12/3-12/12) for photos, updates, and results.

Below is the Wind or no Wind press release explaining the event:

The Wind or No Wind Jam is a one of a kind event designed to show the versatility of a location as well as the riders.  The chosen location is great for kiteboarding and related boardsports such as Wakeboarding, Surfing, Wakeskating, SUP, Skateboarding etc…  No matter if there is wind or no wind the riders will be able to get out and shred, which is what we all love to do.

The event has invited world class Professionals to be involved but happily welcomes anyone who wants to come and share the riding locations and festivities for the week.
The Wind or No Wind Jam will help create a better understanding of kiteboarding as an alternate tool which complements other boardsports, such as Wakeboarding and Surfing, while showing the different personalities and backgrounds involved.
