The air temp was 78-80degrees at 7am! The water was over 75 degrees. The waves were overhead and roping down the entire length of the point. Endless bottom turns for Nuzzi!!!!! Some of the longest waves he’s ever claimed here on a kite. Who else was out there with him? Nobody.

Get your Sunday morning coffee and check out the REAL Team on NBC's Weekend Today this weekend. The Weekend Today Show came to the REAL Flagship Store and REAL Lesson Center in Cape Hatteras to film REAL Team Riders Jason Slezak, Sam Bell, Brandon Scheid, Lulu Vromen, and Brian "BCS" Smith in the solid SW winds of The Slick.

We split off into two groups again today. The home team of Jon, Tiana, and Todd kicked back, relaxed pool side, explored and kited in the afternoon. The wind came up late but it came on strong. Jon said he got super litt on the 2010 Havoc 12m right out front. They all enjoyed the luxury of kiteboarding on the beach in front of the house.

We took a long bumpy road today out on the face of Mars. Sick scenery. Very drastic rock outcroppings plummet into the Pacific Ocean. There wasn’t supposed to be much in the way of surf, so we thought that it would be a perfect opportunity to make “surfboards mandatory”.

Where we are in Peru isn't exactly close to anything, but the travel was worth it with the first session! The REAL Peru group arrived in northern Peru with all of our gear, which was a miracle on its own. Out front of the resort there was no breeze, so the call to pack your 8m and 10m to go ride a place that was 20 minutes south, sounded a little off. We all followed the instructions, screwed in all the fins and straps and started our first journey….

The REAL Team Adventure to the Gorge was amazing. The first part of the Trip was dedicated to the Kiteboarding 4 Cancer event held at the Sand Bar in Hood River, Oregon. Jason Slezak, Chris Stuckey, Sensi Grave and Dominique Granger held strong for the REAL Team and placed 3rd and helped the event to raise over $71,000.
