REAL Instructional DVD Series makes learning and improving EASY!

REAL Kiteboarding is proud to announce the release of our Evolution Instructional DVD. Evolution is the 2nd title in our 5 DVD instructional series and covers first water sessions through riding upwind.

The Winter Cozumel season has officially begun with the first REAL Kite Camp completed! The conditions have been incredible! The students and the coaches are stoked with such a perfect start. It feels good to be back here, to have a break of winter and to kite again!

The riders at REAL have been snow kiteboarding since 1999, so we are here to let you know the scoop. We have snow kiteboarded all across this country and on almost every type of snow or water kite available. There are a lot of kites out there that can work for snow kiteboarding, but the key is to dial yourself in with the products that will be best suited for your area and the type of riding that you want to do.

When you wake up and it is blowing SW 20 on Cape Hatteras, you know you are in for a good day. All day you are going to be hearing about sessions being taken. This past Wednesday was no different. 85 degree SW 21 gusting to 22 was the reading on the Frisco Pier Meter. I think that Lucie was the first on the water that day with the 9am Salvo Day Use to REAL downwinder through the Slick. The sessions continued from there....

REAL Kiteboarding is proud to announce our new partnership with the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. While the “JWCF” focuses on several different types of cancer, the main thrust of this partnership is the education of the world’s youth about the dangers of the different types of skin cancers and what can be done to easily prevent them.

With more and more dedicated riders adding surfboards as piece of their favorite kiting equipment, we decided to take a close look at why a board that originally had nothing to do with the sport is growing so rapidly in popularity.
