The …Lost Sub Scorcher is Kolohe Andino’s small wave rip stick for maximizing gutless surf with a high performance design. This board is shorter and wider than your standard shortboard with a wide bump squashtail design. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s a pro-only board. The Sub is EASY to surf and catch waves on due to the wider nose and flatter entry rocker.

Kolohe Andino’s grovel board… and ...LOST breakout hit of 2010. A blend of the old SD2 and the Scorcher, but squashed-n-wide. Low entry rocker, with a bit of tip flip, into a low tail rocker with shallow concaves through the center to straighten the rail line which makes it easier to lay such a wide platform on a rail. Our stubbiest shortboard yet, but it still carves like a real board. A forward wide point and the strong hip in the outline combine for drive and turning. Kolohe wanted to call it “The Trashcan Lid” because you don’t need to go dumpster diving to get one of these! Ride ‘em short-n-wide to feel the glide… it’s the easiest pointed nose board you will ever ride.

THE NATURAL
Hydroflex 3D rooted vacuum bag tchnology infuses the fiberglass INTO the blank. This creates an ultra-strong bond between the two reducing the chances of delams that eventually lead to buckles. Made in the USA.

Natural construction starts with a hand shaped, PU blank with a stringer. This produces a familiar PU feel that's significantly lighter and stronger than standard PU/Poly Boards.

Lasts 2x longer than standard PU/Poly boards.

Hydroflex boards with "The Natural" surfboard design have excellent flex characteristics. They are glassed with epoxy, so they give you a more natural and lively feel compared to a surfboard glassed with poly. Boards with "The Natural" surfboard design have Hydroflex "Set flex" and don't require air. Stringer P/U blanks and epoxy resin components keep the boards extremely light weight. We use the Hydroflex patented 3-dimensional bonding structure.
