And you thought it could not get any better. Hyper pop and ultra lively. The DLX has emerged from the collaborative work of the lord of wake style, Maurico Abreu and master board designer Anders Borg. A wood / composite multi stringer core that is milled and tuned to perfection for a blend of torsional and centered flex produces a hard biting edge, smooth transitional pop and clean release off the water.
Shaped with channeled bottom contour for added upwind bite and focused water flow
Just had an awesome slick session on my new 138, very stoked. Almost reminds me of riding my old LF Element, except I can go upwind.
Pros:
Awesome pop
Bottom channels make for great finless riding
Smooth through chop despite its stiffness
Goes upwind remarkably well for a board with this much rocker
Cons:
If you're looking for a board that will take you upwind in the absolute fewest tacks, probably not the board for you.
Overall I was very impressed with this year's DLX. While not the board I'd recommend for every rider, if you're looking for a performance oriented board, especially for riding in boots, I'd recommend giving the 2011 DLX a try.
A wakeboard that goes upwind... Thank you Liquid Force

Just got the new DLX and love the channels and rocker. Perfect balance of Wakeboard and Kiteboard. Unlike riding my wakeboard i can go upwind now!!!! See you in the slick YO!!
