Find Something Else...

I picked this up from Real when I got my Hero2 (which rocks), but sadly this does not. A few problems, first of all, it won't mount to a strut unless you can get all the way around it. So a setup like SS split strut won't work, you'll have to find something else to use.
But, I bought it for wrist shots, as advertised. No idea how you would do this. Hold your arm out and pretend your wrist watch (facing in or out) was a camera. Now imagine this was a big block of plastic. You just can't turn your arm far enough inside to get a decent shot unless your wrist was right in your face. I tried it, the camera angles are awful. Now, if you held this in your hand it would work fine, but then you don't need this mount, you just need a wrist leash in case you drop the camera.
Lastly the design is awful. In the picture you see a little rubber o-ring at the top with a plastic tab. That ring is velcroed to the wrist strap, and the little plastic thing has to hold on to the clip on the camera case. Without it, the mount is worthless as the camera will just flop around. Well...if you go to readjust the wrist rubber o ring (or want to open the case) you have to remove the rubber oring velcro and then this essential piece of hardware is not secured to anything! Gone to the wind, water, or lost in the bottom of your luggage (I'm still looking for mine).
Stupid mount. Buy something else. :)
