    This adapter works and gives you the option to use the FCS system in the longboard fin box. I love the idea and it worked fine but even when I had all of the screws tight there was a bit of play in the fin, enough that it was noticeable when surfing. At the very least you need a shim for a tight fit and even then there will bit a little bit of play.
