Weather: Cape Hatteras is one of the most consistently windy places in the US. We get over 22 days of 15mph+ wind per month. From March to November temperatures range from 60-85 Degrees. Kite Camp runs six hours a day for three days and is taught by the best coaches in the world. Full immersion with REAL Coaches means that you’ll end your camp session with skills, knowledge, gear, and a plan that will allow you to quickly progress to the next level.
All REAL Coaches teach from a Jet Ski, following you downwind during your lesson. REAL was the first to develop this "On the Fly" coaching technique in 1998, and we have been perfecting it ever since.
Zero to Hero divides kiteboarding into 5 separate syllabuses that we’ll focus on during each of your camp sessions. These include: Ground Control, Water Time, Board Ride, Double Down, and Life of a Kiter.
Zero to Hero breaks down the sport of kiteboarding into digestible segments of flying the kite and riding the board. Once you have mastered both skills you can combine them and become a kiteboarder!
