Kids from ages 7 to 12 years old will learn the sports of kiteboarding, surfing and standup paddleboarding, while being schooled on the water safety topics of rip currents, wind strength/direction, surf conditions and more. If you’ve always wanted your child to have a strong knowledge and confidence level around the water, this is the program to enroll them in.

REAL Kids Camps are held weekly during school recess and holidays, and run 3 full days, from 10am until 4pm. The price per child is $595, which includes lunch each day provided by MOJOs Sunset Café.

• Ocean Swimming Skills : How to feel comfortable swimming in breaking surf.

• UV Protection : Learn the proper habits at an early age.
• Team Lunch : All REAL Kids Camp participants eat lunch with their coaches and with celebrity professional athletes from the REAL Team, and as well from around the world!

REAL Kids Coaches: When it comes to all of our water programs, safety is priority number #1. Here are just a few of the coaches we have chosen to head up the REAL Kids Camp program based on their impressive backgrounds with children, watersports and water safety:

Sam Bell: REAL International Kiteboarding Team Member. REAL Head Coach. Professional Watersports coach for 11 years. 6x Invited Athlete to Triple-S Invitational. Sam has led our team with a focus on teaching younger athletes and showing them the great opportunities available in our sports.

Justin Souter: Professional Watersports Coach for 11 years. #1 ranked REAL Zero 2 Hero Coach for past 3 seasons. Avon Fire Department Volunteer Firefighter.

Dominique Granger : Professional Watersports Coach for 6 years. Dom’s kiteboarding and surfing skills, her tri-lingual (English, French and Spanish) coaching ability and friendly smile, make her one of the kids’ favorite coaches during the REAL Kids Camp season.

We often see our “hardcore” water enthusiasts in the Spring and Fall and lose them in the Summer, due to “family commitments”. With the addition of Watermen’s Retreat (luxury accommodations onsite), MOJOs Sunset Café (food for everyone at anytime) and now the new REAL Kids Camp program, bringing your entire family to REAL in the Summer is now just as exciting as by yourself in the Spring and Fall. While you are kiteboarding or surfing, your kid(s) will be having the time of their lives in the REAL Kids Camp, making new friends that they meet from around the world. Your spouse can take in the action from your deck at Watermen’s, participate themselves in any of our instructional programs, or “shop ‘till they drop” at the REAL Flagship Store.
